1800 CST: It's raining pretty hard here in Austin, Texas right now, and I just watched something very weird. My building abuts a large pasture where I can see about a dozen head of cattle. They are all basically grouped together, but they are standing absolutely still. I stood and waited for about five minutes for one of them to make some sort of movement at all, but nope. They are completely frozen in place. What the hell? Is that what they do when it rains? What a hoot.
