Name: Mr. SpankI guess you're rejoicing in the death of a civil rights pioneer. You must be, judging by your party's habit of trouncing on the rights of black people and other minorities in order to seize and maintain power. Mind you, the South only became Republican after the Voting Rights Act was pushed through by a Democratic president. Shame on you. Racist.

What an historical moment is captured in that photograph. A shining moment, a personal triumph for Mrs. Parks, but a shameful moment for America. Amazing that in the simple act of one woman with tired feet sitting and doing nothing, the entire fabric of Southern segregationism began to unravel in that very hour.
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." - 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
