Now Playing: "Only Love Can Break a Heart" by Gene Pitney
Cynthia McKinney, the Jew-hating racist who represents Georgia's fourth Congressional district, was [talking with] Soledad O'Brien on CNN this morning and brought up the issue of her supporters; viz., Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte. Apparently, these celebrities represent some sort of authority on race in America. Who knew? From where I stand, they are race-baiters. Nothing more. And to support McKinney, who is unquestionably a racist, reflects extremely poorly on them.

It's time for people to take personal responsibility for their actions and quit blaming everybody but themselves. I am embarrassed that this woman is in a position to represent the Atlanta area in the US House of Representatives. I hope she is prosecuted, tried, convicted, and kicked out of the Congress for her physical abuse of the security personnel in our nation's Capitol.

Cynthia McKinney is an absolute disgrace. Shame on her and anybody who stands with her.

I feel the same way about probably 80% of our nation's politicians.

I'm especially displeased with our current federal government, but there are a few individuals who truly Represent their constituents. As much as I disagree and find offense in her racist attitude, I genuinely believe that McKinney is doing a better job of representing the values of the people who put her in office than any Bush, Kennedy, DeLay, or Pelosi. Like her or not, she is not pretentious, not even enough to feign racial tolerance. She speaks her mind and genuinely cares about the rights and well-being of her community. I can't name too many others for whom I can say the same.

The people who stand with her should not be ashamed that they support her, but they SHOULD stand up and demand that she grow up and denounce her own racism if they are to continue to allow her to sit in office.

I'm more of a Ron Paul man, m'self.
